Chiropractic Care Grows

Chiropractic Care Grows

When we look at the number of Chiropractors in Carlsbad it is clear that patient demand has driven the growth in the number of service providers. In fact, Dr. Kline knows this well; as he expanded his office in March 2016. The increase in patients indeed has been rewarding.

Dr. Kline understands that every patients’ body is a unique delicate machine. When you experience aches and pains, turning Ibuprofen or other pain medication is almost human nature. While we recommend seeking temporarily relief through those means, we urge you to seek treatment and diagnosis of your specific symptoms. Dr. Kline will work individually with every patient to get that machine back on track!

Through patient referrals and chiropractor reviews, the growth Kline Chiropractic & Wellness has seen may be unique; yet, we believe the increased use of chiropractic by the American population certainly is playing a part.

Chiropractic Care for Veterans

We learned that the annual number of patients seen in U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ chiropractic clinics increased by 821%.

Over the last 10 years, the VA has offered chiropractic services as part of the standard medical benefits package. That is more than a decade of benefits to many Veterans who according to a recent study have continued treatment.

The study conducted by the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, concluded that the use of chiropractic services and the chiropractic workforce in the VA has grown substantially since its introduction over a decade ago.

Among the findings, the study shows that:

■ The annual number of patients seen in VA chiropractic clinics increased by 821 percent.

■ The annual number of chiropractic visits grew by 693 percent.

■ The total number of VA chiropractic clinics climbed 9 percent annually, and the number of chiropractor employees increased by 21 percent annually.

■ The average VA chiropractic patient is male, between the ages of 45 and 64, is seen for low back and/or neck conditions, and receives examination, chiropractic spinal manipulation and other health care services.

About Chiropractors (

Doctors of chiropractic (DCs) – who receive a minimum of seven years of higher level education – provide non-operative management of conditions such as headaches, back pain, neck pain, or pain in joints, via a comprehensive approach including manual techniques and active rehabilitation. Chiropractic services are integrated with primary care, specialty clinics and rehabilitation, and provide a non-pharmacologic option for pain management, as well as general health and wellness concerns.
